Matt invited us to "the Center" on Friday night to experience his work environment.
Our first stop was the Wine Tasting Room, where our group enjoyed some of the New York State wines on this month's tasting menu.
Attracted by the sound of live music, we headed upstairs to the Taste of New York Lounge for an offering of more New York wines, beers, and Constellation Brands' liquor products. An observation of note is the comfortable bar section in the Lounge, with a crowd that was in general well-dressed, relaxed, and socially engaged.
Before leaving the new Canandaigua, New York attraction we quickly toured the rest of the NYWCC--to include the Pride of New York Exhibit Hall, Hands on Kitchen, and Demonstration Theater.
The New York Wine & Culinary Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting New York wines, food, and culinary arts. The dining menu is developed in accordance with the current season and corresponding availability of New York-grown agricultural products. The NYWCC is an ongoing joint effort of Constellation Brands Inc., Wegmans Food Market Inc., Rochester Institute of Technology, and The New York Wine and Grape Foundation.
