Status Update Game

Apparently there is a new game called the "Status Update Game". For those of you actively using some sort of social media which allows status updates, the below applies to you!

Rules

• Get the book nearest to you right now.
• Go to page 56.
• Find the 5th sentence.
• Write this sentence as status.
• Copy these instructions as commentary of your sentence.
• Don’t look for your favorite book or your coolest but really the nearest.

Here is the sentence I found:

The plaintiff must deliver, or serve, a copy of the complaint and a summons (a notice requiring the defendant to appear in court and answer the complaint) to the defendant.

It is from Business Law, 11th Ed., Text & Cases: Legal, Ethical, Global, and E-Commerce Environments by Kenneth W. Clarkson, Roger LeRoy Miller, Gaylord A. Jentz, and Frank B. Cross. The book was on the floor next to the couch I am curled up on in front of our wood stove; it is required reading for the Business Legal Concepts course I am currently enrolled in.
